This has been mentioned in most of Iran's official media. Even by one of the political analysts - Davar Mir - this is stated in this way: Dr. Pezeshkian, if elected, will become the most educated president in the history of the world with a specialist degree and a scientific rank of full professor. @Zafer, that is true. Despite lots of sources in Iran saying his mother is Kurdish, Masoud said his mother is a Azerbaijani Turk. This video belongs to BBC NEWS AZERBAIJANI. Pezeshkian's mother and father are both Azerbaijani turks lived in Urmia and Masoud was born in Mahabad. Maternal Kurdish heritage

Hello @HistoryofIran, The sources in the "Early life" section and the sentence "Iranian Azerbaijani Parents" clearly indicate Iranian-Azerbaijani and Kurdish origins. Could you please help me and add the man's Kurdish origins again in the article. I think this is about Pan-Turkish editing wars and a censorship of the Kurdish origin of the man of such a position as is currently taking place on German and Turkish Wikipedia.
